I am doing a thesis about how malaysian college students can be affected in terms of its speaking by mimicking the British English dialects and accents by watching the Top Gear show. Can anyone help me by referring me to a similar previous studies made or perhaps texts from episodes in the show itself.., where accentuation are more prominent in some of the words..? Do you find this valuable?

I would concur that accentuation of the vulgue is prominant. incl. induendo.
but lets face it sport. a similie described as....having a gearbox as tight as the virgin mary isn't going to vex too many potential car makers in asia!
